Direct Deposit of Paychecks If you have not yet enrolled in Direct Deposit, you may do so by downloading the Direct Deposit form, completing it, and returning it to the Human Resources Office, along with a voided check or blank deposit slip. You may also go to the HR Office or Payroll Office and complete a Direct Deposit enrollment form in person. Direct Deposit is an immensely helpful feature. It saves time for you as an employee, and it eliminates any risk of your payroll check being lost, damaged, or delayed in its delivery to the University from the State Capitol Complex. Enrolling in Direct Deposit does not create any mechanism for the State to withdraw money from your bank account. It does not put you at any risk of a negative impact. Through the State Auditor's Office Web site, public employees and retirees can sign up to view their direct deposits online. You will also be able to see your W-2 at this site. Once you enroll, you can discontinue receiving paper pay stubs if you want to stop getting them through the mail. Banking services are readily available in the Shepherdstown area for employees who need a bank. They are listed below.
