Dr. Gonino was one of the first graduates of Ohio University Programs. He arrived at Shepherd College in 1988 and developed the Recreation and Leisure Studies Curriculum. In 1998, he qualified for the National Senior Olympics in shot put and discus. He passed away on November 11, 2002.
