Requirement to Complete Sexual Violence Education Program
Shepherd University recognizes the significance of interpersonal violence and sexual assault on college and university campuses across the United States. We are committed to educating our campus community on these topics and creating a safe and welcoming environment for all students, faculty, and staff.
As a means to help achieve this goal, we have partnered with Everfi to present Haven, an online educational module designed to teach students, faculty, and staff about sexual assault awareness and prevention. All new students and student employees are required to complete Haven. Students who fail to complete both parts of the program will be charged $50 for each uncompleted part to their student accounts. That could be a charge of up to $100.
Please follow these instructions to get started:
Part I (Must be successfully completed by January 27, 2017)
1. Go to Haven.
2. Register your account using “48b8fb72” as your registration code. Please register with your Shepherd University email only.
3. Complete the entire Haven educational module.
Part II (Must be successfully completed by March 24, 2017)
You should receive an automatic email from Everfi 45 days after you complete Part I indicating that you now have access to Part II.
4. Go to Haven.
5. Re-enter your log in information and click on “log in.”
6. Complete the entire second module for Haven.
