Please Note:  Although this is not a National Cemetery;  It is located in proximity
to the Civil War Era Gallipolis General Hospital, and a special Civil War
Soldiers Section was developed in this Cemetery,
Note: Richard A. Wolfe compiled the initial listing from an on-site visit at the separate Civil War soldier section, of those soldiers
who died in Gallipolis GH, Ohio; All soldiers in this listing are buried in that special section, except those marked with a double
asterisk (**), who are buried elsewhere in that cemetery – Duncan, Little, McElhinny (Medal of Honor recipient), & Roberts.  See www.graveaddiction.com/pinest.html for photo of Roberts’ head stone; & Rick Wolfe’s photo’s for photos of the other three head
stones.  Note:  Also, if I needed to check details of death in CSRs, I also gleaned all pertinent information possible &
included it here – thus much greater information is shown for some soldiers than others.
