King, Alma K.    Pvt., Co. G, 1st WV Veteran Vol. Infantry --  Died in Jarvis GH,  Baltimore, MD, 11/21/64 of Typhoid        Pneumonia – Grave Loc.:  Sec. A, #553 --  Age 26;   He was admitted to Jarvis GH on 10/13/64 , and was                hospitalized there when the new recruits & veteran volunteers of his 5th WV Inf. were consolidated with those            of the 9th WV Inf. to form the new 1st WV Vet. Inf.;  and although regt’l officials believed him to still be   hospitalized on 11/30/64 ,  he expired several days before;  thus one might say that he was a member of the              consolidated 1st WV Vet Inf. “in name only.”

Lockwood, David.    Pvt., Co. B, 11th WV Infantry --  Died in Jarvis GH, Baltimore, MD, on 10/14/64 of Typhoid Fever,    and buried in Loudon Park NC on same day – Grave Loc.: not stated  --  Age 28

Marsh, James M.   Pvt.., Co. D, 7th WV Cavalry  -- Paroled POW, was admitted to Camden Street GH, in Baltimore,        MD from CSA Union Hotel Hosp., Winchester, VA, & died there on 7/11 (or12)/62, of  Phthisis Pulmonalis --             Grave Loc.: Sec. Nixon, Jesse B.    Pvt., Co. C, 133rd WV Militia  --  Died on 4/23/64 – Cause of death is unknown &  place of death is       speculative, at best;  some records show death “supposedly” @ Andersonville Prison, GA, but he easily may               have died elsewhere  -- Grave Loc.:  Sec. Ransbottom, Simeon.    Pvt., Co. D, 10th WV Infantry  --  Died as a Paroled POW, at Patterson Park GH, Baltimore,      MD, on 11/6/64, of Chronic Diarrhea  --  Grave Loc.:  Sec. A, #1284 – Age 58  (which made him among the oldest soldiers in combat duty among the WV Union troops)

Reatherfort, Thomas.   Pvt., Co. H, 7th WV Cavalry – Died in Baltimore, MD, 8/18/62, of  Typhoid Fever, & was              apparently originally buried in the Post Cemetery @ Fort McHenry, with later reburial in Loudon Park NC --            Grave Loc.:  Sec.
