On Friday, April 27, Mark Snell will speak to David Ward’s Civil War group in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

On Saturday, June 9, Mark Snell will speak in Manassas, Virginia, to David Ward’s Civil War group.

Beginning on June 28 – July 1, 2012, the George Tyler Moore Center for the Study of the Civil War will present a Civil War seminar in conjunction with Pamplin Historical Park & the National Museum of the Civil War Soldier.  The seminar will focus on the Peninsula Campaign of 1862.

On Sunday, July 7, Mark Snell will be the tour guide for a visit to the Normandy beaches along the northern coast of France.  The tour will end on July 15.  Special guest lecturer is Ed Bearrs, currently the National Park Service historian emeritus, a great presenter on World War II in addition to his Civil War fame. 

On Saturday, August 4, Mark Snell will speak at Monocacy Battlefield in Frederick, Maryland, with Tom Clemens and Dennis Frye about the (lost) Special Orders #191, which outlined the plan that provided valuable information concerning the Army of Northern Virginia movements and campaign plans.

On October 26, Mark Snell will speak in Gettysburg for David Ward’s Civil War group.

On November 14, Mark Snell will lecture to the York Civil War Round Table on the role of General William B. Franklin at the Battle of Fredericksburg.
