Admission to the Curriculum and Instruction Program
Candidates for regular admission to the Curriculum and Instruction program must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, must be a certified teacher, and
either
A 2.75 GPA in all undergraduate coursework
OR
A score of 440 Verbal and 560 Quantitative on the Graduate Record Exam
OR
A score of 40 on the Miller's Analogy Test
Candidates should also be able to provide proof of successful completion of a regionally accredited teacher certification program.
Candidates who do not meet all of the standards for normal graduate admissions may be admitted on provisional status.
Admission Procedure
Applicants to the M. A. in Curriculum and Instruction should fill out a graduate application, which can be downloaded here or requested by phoning 304-876-5313. Please provide documentation of Teacher Certification with your application. The application and $40.00 application fee should be sent to:

Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended should be sent separately from the institution to the above address.
Tuition and Fees
Graduate tuition at Shepherd University for the 2008-2009 academic year is $281 per credit hour for West Virginia Residents and $402 per credit hour for out-of-state students.
