Vision
We strive to be the premier Continuing Education provider at the local, regional and national level for academic content and pedagogy, as well as liberal-arts oriented workshops, conferences and courses. Continuing Education enriches the lives of people of all ages by providing extraordinary opportunities for learning and career enhancement.
Mission
Continuing education at Shepherd University has been designed to complement the undergraduate and graduate programs by providing quality study for the community. Continuing Education courses have been carefully reviewed and created to enhance the knowledge, skills and abilities for local, national, and global employers and employees as well as those who are seeking career enhancement or life-long learning. All Continuing Education instructors are qualified to be full time or adjunct faculty to ensure the highest in educational standards.
