Shepherd students are motivated and resourceful in financing their college educations; however, as student fees and tuition continue to rise each year, more of burden is being placed on them to finance their educations. Private annual and endowed gifts  through the Shepherd University Foundation directly assist deserving students through scholarship awards.

Likewise, faculty members rely heavily on limited private funds for academic research and technology to inspire and sustain innovative curriculum. Endowed faculty excellence awards assist Shepherd in recruiting, recognizing, and retaining distinguished faculty members whose work inspires our students to excel.

Through the generosity of our donors and proficient fiscal management, the Shepherd University Foundation continues to increase its level of support each year. Here we have listed our awards. For your convenience, named funds are listed alphabetically, by criteria, and by giving level.

It is a simple process to create a legacy that will honor someone special in your life. A named endowed fund can be established for a minimum deposit of $25,000.
