11th Annual Scarborough Society Gala

The Great Gatsby

Many guests embraced the gala's theme by donning attire reminiscent of the Roaring Twenties, including Scott Beard, Shepherd University’s graduate dean and associate vice president for academic affairs.

Mike and Carol Witt of Winchester, VA, lent their 1932 Packard as the  photo backdrop for the event.

The gala's elaborate decor and table centerpieces included arty deco painted mannequin heads and lifesize mannequins dressed in 1920's attire.

Winnie Bernat and Michael and Susan Whalton were among the gala's guests who got into character with retro-inspired evening wear.
