Way Out In West Virginia

Jeanne Mozier lives in Berkeley Springs, WV, where she owns and operates the historic Star Theatre and serves as the official voice of the Apple Butter Festival. She is well- known for promoting tourism, local business, and the arts. A writer of both fiction and non-fiction, she has been honored with the Governor’s Award for Distinguished Service in the Arts, as well as the Distinguished West Virginian and WV History Hero awards. Jeanne has written for the West Virginia Encyclopedia and regularly contributes travel and lifestyle articles to a variety of regional and national publications.

On November 28, 2012, Jeanne entertained a standing room-only crowd with colorful imagery and storytelling from her most celebrated publication. Now in its third edition, Way Out in West Virginia was voted Best Book about West Virginia in 2006. The book can be found at Four Seasons Bookstore and O’Hurley’s General Store in Shepherdstown.
