Scarborough Society
The Scarborough Society has helped develop the library program through the purchase of computers, books, periodicals, reference materials, and technological equipment for students. Equally important, the organization is providing for future enhancements through the creation of more than $70,000 in endowment funds for the library program and faculty excellence, as well as a $2,500 annual scholarship fund to provide students with financial aid.

In October 2008, the Scarborough Society began a new partnership with the Shepherdstown Film Society. This partnership will give the Shepherdstown Film Society the financial support it needs to maintain its commitment to show free films for Shepherd students and faculty, and the Shepherdstown community at Reynolds Hall.
