The Women for Shepherd University

Women are responsible for and making decisions about eldercare, retirement, estate planning, and more. However, their family and financial responsibilities are growing faster than their knowledge. Bringing women together in a low-key, social forum to present information on financial, healthcare, and other issues can demystify the process and offer solutions.

By engaging with the University community to learn first-hand about Shepherd University today and the positive impact volunteer leadership can have, women are inspired by their connections to each other. Women-centered programs will offer opportunities to learn about solutions for life issues they are facing, presented by trusted experts within a community of peers.

We encourage all women to learn more about this group. Please see our calendar of upcoming events!

“Shepherd’s history has been shaped by powerful women—from academic leaders like Ruth Scarborough and Sara Cree to the impressive body of alumnae we are proud to claim. Women for Shepherd University captures and builds upon this great resource of energy, creativity, and dedication to the alma mater that adds meaning to our lives. Together, Shepherd’s women will help to fashion a remarkable future for a great university!”

Dr. Suzanne Shipley
President
Shepherd University
