Timothy B. McShea ’80 is the co-founder of the Gaithersberg, Maryland-based real estate firm McShea & Company, Inc., and has been active in the Maryland/DC real estate community for over 27 years. From 1983 until 2003, he acted as Chief Executive Officer of the firm and now serves as Chairman of its Board of Directors. During his time as CEO, he completed many notable leasing transactions including his representation of Bechtel Power Corporation in the leasing of its 450,000 square foot headquarters campus, Natelli Communities in the sale of 35 acres to Fannie Mae for its new 700,000 square foot data center, and Fremont Properties in the leasing of 285,000 square feet to Marriott International.

Tim has also actively engaged as a principal in the acquisition and development of projects that had a total value of approximately $500 million. He is the past president and member of the Board of Directors of the Maryland/DC chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, as well as a member of the World Presidents Organization (WPO).

Tim is a 1980 graduate of Shepherd University with a B.S. in Business Administration.
