Happy Retreat named National Treasure

Congratulations to the Friends of Happy Retreat, caretakers of Charles Washington’s home in Charles Town, West Virginia. Happy Retreat was recently named a National Treasure by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Dr. Don Patthoff co-authors article on professional ethics in dentistry

Dr. Don Patthoff, Chair of the GWI board, recently published the article “Looking Inward: Determining What Professionalism and Self-Formation Mean to Us.” Co-written with Dr. David Ozar, the article appeared in the February 2016 issue of the dental journal AGD Impact.

Dr. Mark Madison presents talk on preservation ethics

GWI board member Dr. Mark Madison, chief historian of the National Fish and Wildlife Service, presented a talk entitled “Who Cares for the Future? Scot Faulkner Delivers Keynote Address
