Literary Expatriates in Love and War
The Shepherd University English Department is sponsoring the Literary Expatriates in Love and War tour to Switzerland and Italy, March 11-23, 2011. Students may receive up to 6 hours of graduate or undergraduate credit for the course and practicum. Please visit the following links for additional information:

English Travel-Study Opportunities
During even-numbered years, the tour is connected with ENGL 446, American Literature and the Prominence of Place, and features tours of important American literary sites.

In odd-numbered years, the travel-study course is connected to ENGL 430, British Literature and the Prominence of Place, and features tours of literary sites in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Both travel courses consist of a three-hour, semester-long course and a three-hour travel practicum that awards credit for the travel experience. All undergraduate travel-study trips are scheduled to correspond to Shepherd's Spring Break.
