*This total of 21 hours is in addition to the twelve hours of general studies requirements in English as listed under the Program of General Studies. 

**Students may take a placement test in order to "test out" of ENGL 370; thus the total number of hours required for the minor may be only 18.

***Students may receive multiple credit for JOUR 444.
