In the fall of 2002, Shepherd University's Teacher Education Program passed the NCATE/ WVDE accreditation review with no reported deficiencies and received full accreditation for the seven years until our next review. We are proud of this notable achievement. NCATE and the West Virginia Department of Education will visit Shepherd University for a Joint Accreditation visit on October 2-6, 2010.
