SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Department of Contemporary Art and Theater will present the Student Honors Show 2014 with an opening receptionMonday, March 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Phaze 2 Gallery in the Center For Contemporary Art.
This exhibition will showcase outstanding student work chosen among Shepherd students by a juror. This year’s juror is Evan Boggess, the 2013-14 Visiting Artist and Lecturer at Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. In his current work, Boggess loosely references the growth patterns of crystalline mineral deposits through semi-abstract, geometric paintings on shaped canvases. Awards will be announced at the opening reception.
