Department of Contemporary Art and Theater presents ‘Decline.’ exhibit, opening reception February 10

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Department of Contemporary Art and Theater will present the exhibit “Decline.” and host an opening reception Monday, February 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Phaze 2 Gallery on the first floor of the Center for Contemporary Arts II.

“Decline.” is an interdisciplinary art exhibition for student competitive winners Wilson Gross, Dale McClung, and Doug Green that questions the wayward nature of contemporary society. It challenges issues such at consumerism, industrialization, global warming, authority, and the passive nature of modern citizenship through painting, sculpture, and photographic processes.
