Academic Support Center (ASC)

The ASC is located on the first floor of the Scarborough Library. Since relocating from its former setting in Knutti Hall to this site, the center has seen a substantial increase (nearly 80%!) in tutoring sessions and overall usage. A quiet and comfortable space, the center provides opportunities for students to receive tutoring in any subject, study in individual carrolls or at group workstations, make-up missed exams, and access library resources and databases with ease. The ASC is currently accepting applications for new tutors in all subjects. Students must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and a 3.0 or higher GPA in the subject in which they wish to provide tutoring. Peer tutors are paid one of the highest hourly wages of all student employees on campus and provide an invaluable service to their fellow students. Student employment applications can be submitted online via:
If you know of a student who would make a great tutor, please encourage them to apply today!
