Concert to feature work of student composers

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — The Shepherd University Music Department will present a concert featuring student composers’ work Monday, December 2 at 3:15 at the Frank Center.

The concert will highlight a variety of completed works and works in progress by the young composers in the music department.

Works include “Dream Flower for Wind Quintet” and “Four River Songs for Unappreciated Rivers for String Quartet” by Walker Williams, “String Quartet no. 1” by Greg Woodward, “Sonatina for Oboe and Piano” by Anthony Farris, excerpts from Bukofzer by Partrick Harper, “Quartet for the Watchtowers” by Kaziah White, “Saxophone Quartet” by Ryan Stewart, and “A Walk Through Grand Central Station” by Ian Karraker.
