Seeds of Music—Music Appreciation for Adults
Instructor: Greg Shook
Why are we drawn to certain kinds of music? What exactly is music and how did we get where we are? Did you know that J.S. Bach had the first “rhythm section?” While we probably won’t answer every question, we will explore music from the earliest documented sources and trace its development from the obvious periods beginning with the Middle Ages, but also look at the influences from the various continents.
Tuition: $120.00 for 10 weeks.

Suzuki Strings
Instructor: Renee Shaw
Group lessons are a fantastic way for students to supplement their private lessons and experience their first ensemble. For ages 12 and under who have been learning to play a string instrument through the Suzuki method and are able to play songs from memory from Suzuki Volume 1 and beyond.
Tuition: $120 for 10 weeks.

Piano Fun for Adults
Instructor: Susan Petzold-Carpenter
Learn to play piano in a relaxed and social group atmosphere while having fun making music. This class is for beginners or those who have forgotten how to play; no experience is necessary. Purchase books Combo Pack 1 for Adults ($36) online from www.musicalmomentsrmm.com.
Tuition: $120 for 10 weeks.
Wednesdays from 6:30pm-7:30pm
Dates: September 13 – November 14

“I Got Rhythm”
Instructor: Wayne Cameron
This class emphasizes basic rhythmic structures and incorporates rhythmic drills designed to strengthen the participants ability to sight-read rhythms effectively. Enrollment is limited to 10 participants. For age 17–adult.
Tuition: $120.00 for 10 weeks.
Thursdays 6:00pm-7:00pm
Dates: September 14 – November 16

Solutions for Performance Anxiety
Instructor: Wayne Cameron
This class offers solutions for severe performance anxiety. Relaxation and concentration techniques are discussed and developed. Discussions will also include how to minimize memory slips, dry mouth, audience attitudes toward the performer, performer’s attitude toward the audience, projection, and other topics. For age 17–adult. Enrollment is limited to 6 participants.
Tuition: $150.00 for 10 weeks.
Thursdays 7:00pm-8:00pm
Dates: September 14 – November 16
