Get Involved
- Read the book. Write your own This I Believe essay.
- Enter the Student Essay Contest or present your essay on the campus radio station, within a group setting or at other functions created specifically for reading your essay.
- Become involved by attending the events listed on the Events link on this website
- Become involved in any activities provided in the dorms that focus on This I Believe.
- Enter into discussions in classes that are using the book
- Participate in discussions following movies and lectures or panel discussions.
- Talk about the book and events with friends and family
- Offer to usher or help at events by calling Judi McIntyre at 304-876-5396 or email jmcintyr@shepherd.edu.
- Offer book suggestions in fall of 2011for the Common Reading selection for the following year.
