The Computer Science, Mathematics, and Engineering (CME) department administers eight laboratories: Robotics Lab, Circuits Lab, Engineering Lab, Programming and Software Engineering Lab, Networking and Security Lab, Computational Mathematics Lab, Mathematics and Engineering Lab, Computer Organization Lab.
These labs have 114 computers with several printers, projectors, one TV, one smart board and one CNC (computed numerically controlled) machine, as well as wireless networking. There are a number of Windows/Linux dual-bootable workstations and Cisco routers, as well as Sun, Dell, and IBM servers (9 servers in total).
Programming and database tools available include the current edition of Visual Studio .Net, Java, Oracle, SQL servers and MySQL, security tools, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Flash, SolidWoks, and 3D Studio.
Computational and engineering tools such as Maple, Matlab, and Math CAD are also available. In addition, computer labs are available for students to use in the Shepherd Academic Support Center and Library. A wireless network is also available across campus for our students.
