SUBJECT: Notice of Development of Board of Governors Policies
Pursuant to Policy One of the Board of Governors, I hereby give notice that the University contemplates the prospect of developing a formal Board Policy on each of the following matters:
1. Faculty and Administrative Productivity
2. Administrators with Academic Rank
3. Employment Innovations
4. Senior Citizen Fee Waivers
5. Meetings of the Board of Governors
6. Procurement and Inventory ControlYou are encouraged to submit comments or suggestions to me in writing at any time prior to the close of business on April 1, 2005, after which date we will begin developing a draft policy for each of these matters, all of which would be distributed for further comment during the months of April and May. We hope that the BOG will be able to finalize policies in most of these areas at the May or June meetings.
A copy of this notice will also be posted on the Board's web page and will be available for anyone to obtain from my office.

SUBJECT: Notice of Promulgation of a Board of Governors Policy
Pursuant to Policy 1 of the Shepherd College Board of Governors, I hereby give notice of our expectation to develop a Board of Governors policy relating to academic program reviews.
You are encouraged to submit any comments or suggestions to me in writing at any time prior to close of business on October 1, 2003. Shortly thereafter, a draft policy will be developed and distributed for opportunities for comment. It is contemplated that the Board will take action on this proposed policy at its December meeting.
A copy of this notice will also be posted on the Board's web-page and will be available for anyone to obtain from my office.
