Membership Requirements:

Interest in biological science.

That's it! Anyone with an interest is eligible for membership. There are different types of membership, however. See below for details.

To join Shepherd College's Rho Omega Chapter of Beta Beta Beta:
Do any of the following:

You may begin attending meetings at any time through the semester. If you are unsure if you would like to join, come to the meetings and see what we are like.

Meetings are held every Wednesday at 3:15 in Snyder 031.

If you cannot make it to the meetings:

	Come to events as scheduled throughout the semester. These include lectures, field trips, community service projects, or socials events. See the calendar or announcements.
	Talk to our advisor, Dr. Wing. Alternatively, most of the science faculty knows about us and can help.
	Talk to any of the officers.
	Email BBBWeb@shepherd.edu.

Types of Beta Beta Beta Memberships

	Active Members are undergraduates who show great interest in the biological sciences and demonstrate superior academic achievement. This is a life-time membership for the participant. More Info
	Associate Members are undergraduates who are not eligible for active membership. Associates may upgrade to active membership when requirements are met. Associates end their membership upon leaving school, unless upgraded to active status. More Info
	Graduate Members are active members who have completed their undergraduate course of study, graduate students currently in a biological science program, or faculty member on a campus where there is a local chapter.
	Honorary Members are elected by the local chapter for significant contributions to its program and by the national organization for outstanding service to the society or to biology.
