Alicia Doepp, Senior
Hedgesville, WV
Major: Economics and Business Administration with a concentration in financial planning
My experience at Cornerstone Wealth Management Group has been enlightening. Originally I wanted an internship to see if financial planning was something I was interested in making a career out of. I am only 5 weeks into the semester so I cannot say for sure if it something I would like to do, but I now know all of the different positions available within financial planning. I am very thankful for the employee's patience and willingness to teach me about the trade. I have learned about the importance of sales in financial planning and how to create long-term plans for clients in addition to how to manipulate planning software. I would recommend an internship at a firm like Cornerstone Wealth Management Group for all financial planning majors.
