FROM THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT

WELCOME ALUMNI!

I am proud to serve as the Shepherd University Alumni Association's President and I want to invite all of you join our Alumni Association today. We are here to serve all Shepherd grads and to represent alumni of Shepherd University.

The Alumni Association is a dues paying membership organization only for Shepherd grads. The Association works with the University and alumni to plan events and programs that help alumni stay connected to Shepherd. Some of the great things the Association supports each year are alumni regional events, Homecoming weekend--packed full of alumni events, including the Alumni Golf Tournament, Alumni Breakfast and Homecoming Parade, Reunion Brunch, and post-game alumni party. We also support the annual Emeritus Club Induction and Luncheon recognizing our alumni celebrating the 50th anniversary of their graduation, and the Annual Athletic Hall Fame Induction and Banquet. Your dues also help to pay for the publication of the Shepherd Magazine.

Soon, you will be invited to join our online alumni community. Shepherd alumni will be able to login into their own profile page where you can keep in contact with other alumni, share information and photos that you would like fellow alumni to know about. There will be a searchable online directory. Alumni will be able to register for events and receive information about University events. We will also launch an e-newsletter to share happenings, events, alumni highlights and information.

The online community will be available to all Shepherd grads, but alumni association members will enjoy enhanced benefits in using the alumni community such as early notification of special events, advance registration for events and direct links to University events.

So although you've left Shepherd, it will always be a part of your personal history, and you will always be a part of Shepherd's history. The Alumni Association is here to serve you as a Shepherd grad.
