Who we are!
ALLIES (Gay-Straight Alliance) is an organization that promotes the understanding of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) issues and acceptance of the LGBT community through campus and community activities. We also exist to create a supportive safe space on campus for members of the LGBTQ community and their allies.
Membership is open to anyone from high school to senior citizens. Allies will not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, creed, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or gender expression.
When we meet!
We meet every other Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the Shenandoah room. Feel free to attend our meetings! We welcome everyone on campus and in the community.
