Who we are!

ALLIES (Gay-Straight Alliace) is an organization that promotes the understanding of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) issues and acceptance of the LGBT community through campus and community activities. We also exist to create a supportive atmosphere on campus and for members of the LGBT community and their allies.

Membership is open to undergrads, grad students, alumni, faculty and staff of Shepherd University and of the greater community. ALLIES (Gay-Straight Alliance) will not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, creed, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or gender expression.

When we meet!

We meet every Tuesday at 5:30 PM in the Shenandoah Room on the second floor of the student center. Feel free to attend our meetings. We welcome everyone on campus and in the community.
