SHEPHERD UNIVERSITY TUITION PAYMENT PLANS

Tuition payment plans are an interest-free way to split your University expenses into easy-to-manage installments, rather than one lump-sum payment. It's simple to enroll and a convenient, manageable solution to paying your tuition, fees, room and board. Shepherd University is pleased to offer two payment plans. One will surely meet your needs! Both of these plans are available to pay balances due for the fall and spring semesters. Because summer semesters are short, payment plans are not an option to pay summer invoices.

60/40 Payment Plan:

With this plan, the balance due for a fall or spring semester can be split into two payments. There is no interest or fee to participate in the plan. The first payment is due before classes begin. Due dates are established each semester, but the deadline is generally the week before classes begin. The first payment amount is 60 percent of the balance due after subtracting any financial aid. This is the minimum amount due in order to ensure that your class schedule will not be dropped for non-payment. The remaining balance is due six weeks after classes begin. Again, due dates are established each semester.

When you receive the invoice, there will be a total amount due and a minimum amount due. To enroll, simply pay the minimum amount due, which reflects 60 percent of the balance on the invoice. By paying the minimum amount due on the invoice, you are automatically enrolling in the 60/40 payment plan. Another invoice will be sent after classes begin, as a friendly reminder informing you when the remainder is due.

The Tuition Payment Plan Administered by Sallie Mae:

This payment plan is based on your balance due for fall and spring semesters. You can spread the cost of the academic year across a longer period of time. There are two options available with this plan: tuition only, or tuition, room and board. For tuition only, you would make eight payments; for tuition, room and board, you would make 10 payments. Both options are completely interest-free; however, there is a minimal charge to enroll. For more information or to enroll, visit https://tuitionpay.salliemae.com/shepherd.
