Mission:
The Office for Administration and Finance provides administrative and financial support services in the area of grant administration. The Office for Administration and Finance works closely with the principal investigator:
# To ensure that all terms and conditions of the awarded grant met compliance with State of West Virginia, Shepherd University and the sponsored agency's policies and procedures.
# To efficiently and effectively manage grant funds by establishing budgets in the institutional accounting system.
# To process each grant request according to payroll, purchasing and travel procedures in a timely manner.
# To administer the financial close out of the grant in the institutional accounting system.
# To prepare quarterly and final financial reports.
# To process the collection of payment.
