CORE CURRICULUM REQUIREMENT FOR PERSONS WITH A BACHELOR'S DEGREE (OTHER THAN THE RBA DEGREE)
Since many persons who already hold a bachelor's degree are returning to University to pursue either another bachelor's degree or a new undergraduate major, Shepherd has adopted a policy, which recognizes the Core Curriculum ("General Studies") Program that the student completed as part of their first bachelor's degree. Students are not required to meet Shepherd's Core Curriculum requirements, but the student may be required to take specific Core Curriculum courses deemed essential to their new degree or major field. The program of study that the student will follow is subject to the approval of the appropriate Division Chairs in consultation with the Department Chair in the student's major program.
Note: Baccalaureate degree holders are not eligible for admission to the RBA program.
Questions may be directed to the Office of Admissions.
