Men's Basketball's Boone Tabbed to D3hoops.com Team of the Week

New York University senior center Jason Boone earned a spot on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week after leading the Violets to three wins in as many games.

Boone averaged 15.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.3 blocks while shooting 83.3% (20-24) from the field, as the Violets (14-2, 3-2 UAA) posted a non-conference victory over Hunter College and wins over University Athletic Association (UAA) rivals Emory University and Case Western Reserve University.

Boone became the second NYU player named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week this season. Senior forward Daniel Falcon was cited on Nov. 23.

Ranked #24 in the D3hoops.com Top 25, the Violets return to action Friday, Jan. 26, when they travel to the University of Chicago for a key UAA contest. Tip-off time is 9 pm EST (8 pm CST).
