“Presidential Power and the Evolution of
the Modern President” “Women Voters in the 2012 Election and
Beyond” What role will women play in the 2012
election… and beyond? By considering historical trends in
the participation of women as elected leaders, as
candidates, as fundraisers, and as voter, we can make some
predictions about the role of women in the upcoming
election and – perhaps – be able to see whether or not
women are on their way to overcoming what researchers call
the “pipeline problem.” “Campaign Mistakes and Opportunities” This talk will discuss the mistakes and
opportunities that Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have made
in the 2012 campaign for the US Presidency. |
