"Behind the
Veil” provides a glimpse into the everyday
lives of women of the Islamic faith. The presentation emphasizes
similarities and differences in the everyday lives of women and
girls living in Bangladesh and women and girls living in Western
societies. Photographs document the joy, vibrancy,
determination, and real life circumstances as observed by the
Presenter during recent visits to Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia.
The presentation will touch the hearts of the audience,
challenge false assumptions, and fragment stereotypes that
impair peace and understanding among people of different
cultures..
