FINANCING A SHEPHERD EDUCATION
Shepherd's tuition and fees are kept as low as possible for our students to be able to afford to attend college. However, financial aid is available for those students who qualify; however, all students must submit a FAFSA to be eligible for federal aid. Campus work-study which provides the majority of jobs on campus is considered federal aid.
Your son or daughter's tuition and fees will differ depending on whether they are living on campus or take a meal plan. Fees for room and board change depending on what type of housing accommodations your son or daughter chooses. Commuter meal plans are also available Additional fees are in place for certain labs and/or field experiences.
The Cashier's Office collects tuition and fees and maintains all student accounts. Tuition can be paid by cash, check or credit-card.
Deadlines for tuition payments are posted and students must adhere to these to avoid being dropped from their classes. Information about the deadlines is mailed with students' bills.
