WINCHESTER,VA (Sept. 22) --The Shepherd College men's tennis team rolled over the competition here Saturday by winning the Shenandoah Fall Classic team tournament. The Rams also claimed a share of the women's team title, tying Shenandoah University for first place. The final scores for the men were Shepherd with 27 points, University of District of Columbia 16, Ferrum College (Va.) 7, and Shenandoah 3. For the women, Shepherd and Shenandoah tied with 20, Ferrum 11, and UDC 8.
Tomorrow, the Shepherd women will play two matches at Jefferson High School. The first match is at 11:00 a.m. against Salem International, followed by a 3:00 p.m. contest versus West Virginia State.
