SHEPHERDSTOWN, W. Va. -- Shepherd College head women's tennis coach Chris Stambaugh announced today that Jessica Clarke (Hedgesville/Hedgesville, WV) and Jennifer Kastle (Jefferson/Charles Town, WV) have signed letters-of-intent to play tennis for the Rams in 2003.
Clarke, the younger sister of current Shepherd men's tennis standout Brian Clarke, earned Outstanding Tennis Player honors for Hedgesville in 2001 and 2002. Kastle has an individual state championship title at number four singles to her credit as a standout at Jefferson High. She also finished as a state runner-up in doubles action twice in her career.
