2003: Returning starter at second base. Strong candidate for post-season honors.
2002: Played and started in 49 games. Batted .330 with 61 hits, 39 runs scored, and 23 RBI. Added four doubles and a homer. Led team with seven sacrifices. Was 6-of-9 in stolen bases and third on the team in walks with 19. Stellar play in the North Atlantic Regional earned him All-Tournament honors.
2001: Played in 42 games with 38 starts. Batted .286 with 37 runs scored and 21 runs batted in. Also belted five doubles and two homers. Was 7-of-11 in stolen bases and drew 15 walks. Posted a .959 fielding percentage with a team-high 104 assists. Also was in on 27 of the teamıs 32 double plays. Named Co-WVIAC Player of the Week for April 9 after batting .500 for the week. Walck belted a game-tying home run and later the game-winning hit in the bottom of the ninth inning in Shepherdıs 3-2 win over Concord on April 7.
Prior to Shepherd: A 2000 graduate of Waynesboro High School where he played for Shepherd Hall-of-Famer Greg Chandler.
Personal: Born 5-22-82. The son of Craig and Jeanne Walck. Majoring in physical education. His father, Craig, played for the Boston Red Sox from 1980-83.
