Jen Wood enters her third year at the helm of the Shepherd women's soccer program as the Rams begin their first season at the varsity level in 2000. Wood, a 1994 graduate of Shenandoah University, was a four-year starter for the Hornets. She was named Team MVP in 1994 and earned All-Region honors in 1993-94.

Wood comes to Shepherd after a successful tenure as head girl's soccer coach at James Wood Middle School in Winchester, Virginia, where she also served as girl's basketball coach.
