RAMS REPEAT HISTORY; FINISH SEASON UNDEFEATED
On the 50th anniversary of Shepherd's only previous undefeated football season, the Rams repeated history on November 5. Shepherd defeated West Virginia State 51-10 at Ram Stadium to finish the season 11-0. Shepherd University has the top seeding in the Northeast Region of the NCAA Division II Football Playoffs and will host C.W. Post on November 19 at noon.

Cater becomes winningest coach in WVIAC history
Shepherd football coach Monte Cater (pictured above, l., with Shepherd University President David L. Dunlop) became the all-time winningest coach in WVIAC history with his 126th win on Saturday, October 15. He has since won three more games and is now 129-67-1 since coming to Shepherd in 1987. In 19 seasons, Cater has also won outright or shared nine WVIAC championships.
