WASHINGTON, DC (Mar. 17) -- The Shepherd College men's tennis team won its sixth match with an 8-1 drubbing of the University of the District of Columbia. Junior Mike Farrell (Peary/Ijamsville, MD), senior captain Greg Selby (Brunswick(MD)/Shepherdstown, WV), and sophomore Wray Sherman (Rockbridge/Lexington, VA) all had 6-0, 6-0 wins in singles play.
Shepherd is now 6-1, while UDC falls to 0-2. The Rams will be back in action on Friday at conference foe Concord.
