FARRELL SET WIN MARK; SHEPHERD BLANKS DAVIS & ELKINS

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV -- Senior captain Mike Farrell (Ijamsville, MD/Peary HS) posted a pair of wins to help lead Shepherd College to a 9-0 win over Davis and Elkins in WVIAC men's tennis action on Saturday.

Farrell posted a 6-0, 6-0, singles win and teamed with David Seifarth (Hagerstown, MD/Smithsburg HS) for 9-0 triumph in doubles action to record his 129 th career victory. Farrell surpasses the old mark of 128 set by former teammate Greg Selby in 2003.
