Stambaugh Earns Coach of the Year Honors
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W. Va. -- Shepherd College head men's tennis coach Chris Stambaugh was recently named WVIAC Coach of the Year.

Stambaugh led the Rams to a 13-7 overall record, including a 7-1 mark in WVIAC play. He also led the Rams to a third place finish at the WVIAC Tournament, only two points behind champion University of Charleston.

Stambaugh is the first Shepherd men's tennis coach to gain Coach of the Year honors since Roger Parker in 1988. Stambaugh helped lead the Ram to the WVIAC title that year as a conference champion at No. 5 singles and No. 2 doubles.
