
Robert (Moe) Morris
Robert (Moe) Morris is entering his fourth season as head coach of the cross country program at Shepherd College.
In 1998 under Morris' tutelage, Dan Carter became the first runner in school history to earn WVIAC All-Conference honors with a seventh place finish in the conference championship meet. Two years later Liz Lowrie became the first Shepherd woman runner to gain WVIAC All-Conference recognition.
Previously, Morris served as head cross-country coach at Martinsburg High School from 1984-1990. His Bulldog boy's team won the West Virginia AAA State Championship in 1987.
From 1991-1997, Morris worked to establish Clear Spring High School as one of Maryland's top 1A cross country programs. Three Blazer individuals were guided to four consecutive state titles (1994-97) during his tenure.
