SHEPHERD PLACES FIFTH AT NORTHERN REGIONAL

WHEELING, WV -- Shepherd College placed fifth at the WVIAC Northern Regional Golf Tournament at the Spiedel Golf Course. West Liberty edged West Virginia Wesleyan in a one-hole playoff to take the team title. Concord finished third and Fairmont State took fourth place honors.

David Bradshaw (Harpers Ferry, WV/Jefferson HS) fired a 151 to place second behind Tim Fisher of Glenville State, who shot a 148. Bryan Snow (Columbia, MD/Glenelg HS) placed sixth with a two-round total of 153.

All 36 holes were played on Monday after Sunday¹s opening round was cancelled due to winter-like weather in the Northern Panhandle.
