SHEPHERD PLACES FIFTH AT HAL HANSEN INVITATIONAL

CLARION, Pa. -- The Shepherd University golf team placed fifth out of 15 teams at the 2006 Hal Hansen Invitational Golf Tournament on Monday. Host Clarion earned team honors and Clarion's Justin Scott (Sr. Monroeville/Gateway) took medalist honors in a four-man playoff to lead the Golden Eagles.

Shepherd was led individually by Bryan Snow, who finished in a tie for ninth place with a three-over 147 (72-75) in the two round event. Paterick Clark followed with a 150 (75-75) to tie for 16th place.
