SNOW LEADS SHEPHERD GOLF TO THIRD PLACE FINISH

DAVIS, W.Va. - Senior Bryan Snow fired a two-under-par 142 to finish in a tie for fourth place individually and lead the Shepherd University golf team to a third place finish at the WVIAC Central Regional at Canaan Valley Resort. Fairmont State fired a school-record 10-under par 278 to rally for the team title. The Falcons' 36-hole total of 567 outdistanced Charleston by seven shots. Shepherd finished third at 589.

FSU's Justin Caroli survived a three-way playoff with Charleston's Michael Todd and West Liberty State's David Lane after each completed play at four-under 140. Lane fell out of the sudden death playoff on the first hole. Caroli finally took his first collegiate victory on the third extra hole with an eagle.
