Robert (Moe) Morris In 1998 under Morris's tutelage, Dan Carter became the first runner in school history to earn WVIAC All-Conference honors with a seventh place finish in the conference championship meet. Two years later Liz Lowrie became the first Shepherd woman runner to gain WVIAC All-Conference recognition. Lowrie, Lisa Bailey, and Tiffany Moskel all gained All-Conference honors for the the Rams in 2001. Previously, Morris served as head cross-country coach at Martinsburg High School from 1984-1990. His Bulldog boy's team won the West Virginia AAA State Championship in 1987. From 1991-1997, Morris worked to establish Clear Spring High School as one of Maryland's top 1A cross country programs. Three Blazer individuals were guided to four consecutive state titles (1994-97) during his tenure. Robert (Moe) Morris |
